Mag chloride is the dust-control spray used on La Plata County gravel roads. It's corrosive and doesn't rinse off easily with plain water. We use a dedicated pre-soak and wheel-well rinse to break it down, then protect the paint with wax or a ceramic coating so it has a harder time sticking next time.
For most vehicles here, yes. High-altitude UV, winter road treatments, mag chloride and pine sap are all hard on paint. A ceramic coating adds a hard, slick layer that resists them and can cut your washing and maintenance time roughly in half.
A wash and wax or an interior detail usually takes 2 to 4 hours. Paint correction and ceramic coatings typically take most of a day, depending on the vehicle's condition.
Yes. We detail pontoons, wake boats, fishing boats, motorhomes, fifth wheels, luxury coaches, horse trailers, semi trucks, fleet vehicles and private aircraft. RV washes are priced per foot; boats, fleet and aircraft are quoted by size and condition, so send a photo for a quick quote.
A full detail, inside and out, starts at $275. An exterior wash and wax starts at $199, interior detailing at $175, express paint correction at $350 and protective coatings at $499. Prices are for cars and light trucks in normal condition, and you get an exact price before we start.
RVs and boats are priced by the foot: $10 per foot for a basic wash and $20 per foot for a wash and wax. A 30-foot motorhome wash and wax is about $600, and a 22-foot pontoon is about $440. Oxidation removal is quoted from photos.
Our 3-year protective coating lasts about 3 years. The MAX ceramic coating lasts up to 10 years. Express paint correction includes a wax that lasts up to 6 months.
